Description / Inspiration: By voting for this mural you are pledging to be drug free. Help me reach my goal of 100,000 votes!
I won't try it.
I won't buy it.
I will just deny it!
If you have re-lapsed or are currently struggling with addiction and mental health, you can still pledge a vote if you are deciding to change. If you are needing immediate help to get into addiction treatment you can contact the Rimrock Foundation at (406) 248-3175. If you are having thoughts of suicide or another mental health crisis you can call or text the Suicide & Crisis lifeline at #988.
About the mural:
I used exterior satin paint in the colors of red, black and white for the mural. The red represents the blood shed by those who have overdosed, were murdered or committed suicide this year due to drug involvement. The white represents that there is light at the the end of the tunnel. The black represents the darkness of mental health that leads to addiction. The hand represents those who are always waiting and reaching out to help us weather we see them or not.
