Artist(s): Sara Ford
Description / Inspiration: My art depicts that We shine so much brightness and potential but meth will dim it before we get a chance to shine. For supplies I used 2x4s for a frame and 4x8 pieces of plywood, I used house paint and spray paint.
I’ve watched people I care about and even strangers struggle with drug abuse. I really lack words to explain how its so hard and sad to watch someone ruin their life so I wanted to portray that in my painting. It’s really disheartening to watch their light slowly dim when you know they could have so much potential.
