Description / Inspiration: This project meant so much to me. I am 10 months sober and have seen much of the ugly world of drugs. I have worked hard rebuilding my life and really wanted to start giving back to my community so when a few friends recently told me about this I knew I had to get involved. The beauty addiction takes from a person is devastating. I've seen it first hand. I also wrote the poem on it to show how easy it is to slip and loose everything over a selfish mistake. I used mostly acrylic, some spray paint and paint pens. I did the painting on 1/4" plywood and and added a uv protective polyurethane at the end to withstand the weather. I have received so much positive feedback from the community its beautiful. Truly blessed!
