Description / Inspiration: My painting depicts teepee lodges set in a valley below the mountains. The left side is sunrise full of rainbow colors which represent life, a new day Full of surprises. The gift of life it’s self. The right side is a night scene with empty teepee lodges. It’s a way of showing how family are torn apart by meth. And how our people are being lost, go missing and/or murdered. It’s a sad scene void of our people. My way of showing what the effects of meth use brings to us. Too often we see houses boarded up because the houses tested positive for meth. I hope this mural speaks to the people and even if it can help change one persons mind about using meth, it will be worth it. Im glad I got to participate in paint the state. As for the materials I had hard time purchasing paint for this project. I used Valspar exterior enamel paint that I got at our local hardware store. I got my brushes at Micheals in kalispell mt. Please accept my entry. I went thru I hard time making it. I’m a full time artist. I have have a wife and two kids that I support selling my artwork.
