Description / Inspiration: The mural is 8 feet by 8 feet painted with acrylic paint on plywood. The artwork depicts a meth monster with arms reaching out for both the viewer and the horizontal figure in the lower portion of the mural who represents a meth addict. The slogan is Beware the Meth Monster/ Meth Not Even Once. The artwork was a collaboration of two different artist's ideas. Students from Ms. Berry's 11th and 12th Grade Government class submitted designs for the mural and installation proposals as part of their Spring semester project. The students viewed all the art entries and after feedback and input from other students and teachers (Thank you, Mr. Vanek!) they decided upon the monster and the figure arrangement.
