Description / Inspiration: I painted a map of traditional Crow Country with all our mountain ranges: The Apsaalookes, Crazy, Teton, Bear Tooths, Pryor, Bighorn, and Wolf Tooths. The Yellowstone, Bighorn and Little Bighorn Rivers, the Mountain Crow are depicted as a tipi and the River Crow are the other tipi. The pink hour glass design is iconic to our peoples' art work it borders the map on two sides.
