Description / Inspiration: This Mural not only carries out awareness of Meth and the warning to stay away from it, but it also tells a story about a beautiful woman who struggles to suppress and deal with her addiction. You can see the struggles she goes through and the problems that flow throughout her world. I wanted to show that people can still look nice and struggle with this drug. My work is done in Acrylic/Wall Paint, contains a realistic style, and is a symbolic piece of work. My goal was to avoid the idea of throwing the "Don't do it; it's bad!" Into your face but express it in a way so that those who struggle with Meth can relate to it and feel something in their mind and soul. My Inspiration for this piece was inspired by Chicano artwork, and my idea was formed by people I see or observe who struggle with Meth and how it affects their life and things around them.
