Description / Inspiration: ‘Choose Life’ uses bold and bright colors, sublime Montana landscapes and powerful messaging to emphasize the beauty of life without meth. Using acrylic paints, paint markers and gel pens I created a piece that connects to the Montanan experience. It’s easy to get lost in such a vast and profound state and that’s why signs help show us the way. As a born and raised Montanan I see people I love getting lost all around me, including myself, suffering with addiction and generational trauma. It is important to remind our loved ones and ourselves to really look at the road in front of us.
